Cortlandt Veteran elected as National Senior Vice Commander of the MOPH
Congratulations to William Nazario
I am very pleased to announce that the Chairman of our Cortlandt Hudson Valley Veteran’s Committee, William (“Willy) Nazario, a Purple Heart Veteran from the Vietnam War, has been named the National Senior Vice Commander of the Military Order of the Purple Heart (MOPH).
We are all very proud of our friend Willy and congratulate him on this honor. Willy Nazario has been an active participant in helping us to keep the needed services at the FDR V.A. located in Montrose/Cortlandt, has lobbied with us to have the V.A. pool renovated for Veteran’s physical therapy use and has been a tremendous advocate of helping all Veterans in our community and region.
He will now have a stronger voice and a larger platform to work for Veteran’s needs and services.
“I am proud to know him and this new position for Willy Nazario is well deserved. He will continue to be a champion for the men and women who have and are serving our great Country”.
