PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the PLANNING BOARD of the TOWN OF CORTLANDT will conduct a Public Hearing for Site Development Plan approval pursuant to Chapter 307 (Zoning) and for a Special Permit for a business and professional office in a transitional zone as per Chapter 307-48 (Zoning) of the Town of Cortlandt Code on the application of the Cortlandt/Peekskill Animal Hospital, for the property of Arlene Arno, for a proposed animal hospital as shown on a 3 page set of drawings entitled “Site Plan, Cortlandt-Peekskill Animal Hospital” prepared by Joel Greenberg, R.A. latest revision dated July 10, 2017.
The subject property of approximately 1.7 acres is made up of two tax lots, designated on the Town of Cortlandt Tax Maps as Section 34.05, Block 6, Lots 1 & 2. The existing building is located at 2158 Crompond Road (Route 202), tax lot 1. Lot 2 is the adjacent parcel containing a parking lot. The properties are both zoned R-20 single family residential. A business and professional office is permitted, on Lot 1, by the issuance of a Special Permit from the Planning Board.
Pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 of the State Environmental Quality Review Regulations the subject application is an unlisted action for which Part One of the Short Environmental Assessment Form was submitted.
Persons may review said application and drawings at the Planning Office in the Cortlandt Town Hall, 1 Heady Street, Cortlandt Manor, New York, between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, except holidays.
SAID HEARING will be conducted in the Vincent F. Nyberg General Meeting Room at the Cortlandt Town Hall, 1 Heady Street, Cortlandt Manor, New York on Tuesday evening, August 1, 2017 at 7:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as possible at which time all interested persons will be heard.
