Parents check out what's happening this month at the Youth Center.

All programs below are for youth entering grades 6th – 12th unless otherwise noted. All programs below are free unless otherwise noted.  YC programs are for Town of Cortlandt Residents only, unless otherwise noted. For a full description of each program below please click here for the fall brochure.

Youth Entering Grades 6th – 12th (Drop-Off Program)
Monday – Thursday: 3:00 PM- 8:30 PM
Friday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Saturday: 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Youth Entering Grades 1st – 5th (With Parent/Guardian)
Saturday & Sunday: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

*Closed: October 31
Holiday Hours (Open at 1:00 pm): October 1st, October 9th, and October 14th

Weight Room Workout: Tuesdays & Thursdays at 5:00 PM

Canteen (Open Gym) at the Muriel H. Morabito Community Center, 29 Westbrook Drive, Cortlandt Manor
Tuesdays & Wednesdays: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Fridays: 8:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Open Gym at Hen-Hud High School
Mondays: 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm
*No program when school is closed; Hen-Hud students only

Basketball Pointers- at YC
Saturdays, October 5th-19th:  7:00 pm

The Game Café at the CUE (Grades 9th – 12th)
Friday & Saturday: 7:30 PM – 11:30 PM
3131 Main Street, Mohegan Lake, in the Cortlandt Town Center, behind the movie theater.
High school students can enjoy Wi-Fi, cable TV, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, playing a game of pool or ping pong with their friends or simple just hang out. Snack and hot beverages are available for purchase for less than $5. Must show school ID to get in and complete a short registration form. Friday, October 25 Free pizza night! Youth must be present by 8:00 pm; pizza will be ordered at 8:15 pm.

Saturday, October 5th: Broadway All Stars begins! Extended to grades 2nd – 8th now! With two holiday performances in December! *Fee: $185 with ID/ $190 without ID/ $228 nonresident. Click here for more information and to register.

Wednesday, October 9th: Open 1 pm, Mini Sport Tournament at 4:00 pm

Friday, October 11th: 8 Ball Challenge at 7:00 pm (Must register by October 9th by calling the YC at 914-736-0498)


October 13th-19th


Monday, October 14th: Open at 1 pm, Milkshake Monday at 3:00 pm

Friday, October 18th: DJ Night from 7:00 pm-10:00 pm – come dressed in your Halloween Costume

Saturday, October 19th: Fun with Baking Soda at 5:00 pm

Saturday, October 19th: Basketball Pointers at 7:00 pm *Last class


October 20th-26th


Sunday, October 20th: Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk 7 am – 2:30 pm at Manhattanville College, bus leaves YC at 7:15 am To join our team or make a donation click here.

Friday, October 25th: Fashion Forward Friday at 3:30 pm

Saturday, October 26th: Jr. Chopped Competition from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm *Judging at 7:00 pm

October 27th- November 2nd


Thursday, October 31st: YC closed, Halloween Party at the Community Center for Families with youth up to 5th grade.

Sunday, November 3rd: American Red Cross Babysitting Course for Ages 11 - 15 from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
*Fee: $82 with ID/ $87 without/ $105 nonresident

Tuesday, November 5th: Young Rembrandts Cartoon Workshop Session I for Grades 1st – 6th from 9:00am-3:00pm *Fee:$65 with ID/$70 without/ $86 nonresident

Wednesday, November 6th: Creative Cooking I, Session II for Grades 1st – 3rd from 5:15 pm- 6:15pm
*Fee: $80 with ID/ $85 without ID/ $102 nonresident (5 sessions)

Wednesday, November 6th: Creative Cooking II, Session II for grades 3st – 5rd from 6:45 pm- 7:45pm

Food Fun Age 2 from 9:30 AM – 10:15 AM
Storybook Cooking Ages 3 – 6 from 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM or 12:15 PM – 1:15 PM
