Route 9A Paving Status Update

NYSDOT’s Contractor is continuing incidental work in order to begin milling and paving operations. 

Week of 5/17/2020 – 5/21/2020: Nightwork will continue Sunday – Thursday 8:00pm-6:00am.

Week of 5/26/2020 – 5/28/2020: Nightwork will continue Tuesday – Thursday 8:00pm-6:00am.

Milling and paving will begin 5/31 at the northern end of the project, beginning with the RT9 off ramp & Welcher Ave. Wednesday 6/1 there will be no parking on the shoulders on the southbound side.

General Note: One lane will always be open, alternating traffic with flaggers will be utilized. All work weather dependent and will shift accordingly.
