What to Know During an Emergency at Indian Point

The Town of Cortlandt Supervisor is responsible for the overall administration of a wide range of emergency planning, preparedness, and implementation of home town initiatives.  The purpose of Homeland Safety is to integrate the evolving Federal and State procedures, revisions, and best practices into the framework official government. In addition, we serve as a point of entry and network capacity for local emergency first responders. We are also responsible for seeking various intergovernmental funding sources and block grants.  Examples are:  Federal Department of Homeland Security NIMS (National Incident Management System), NRP (National Response Plan) and Office of Domestic Preparedness Threat Assessment and Vulnerability assessment of local facilities.
