Planning Board Public Hearing - PB 25-08, Cortlandt Organics

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

      PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the PLANNING BOARD of the TOWN OF CORTLANDT will conduct a Public Hearing pursuant to Chapter 307 (Zoning) of the Town of Cortlandt Code on the application of John Nolan of Cortlandt Organics, for the property of Tim Cook, Inc. for Site Development Plan approval for a leaf composting and wood waste processing facility to be located on an 11.47 acre parcel of property on the east side of Albany Post Road (Route 9A), south of Victoria Avenue as shown on a drawing entitled “Site Plan prepared for Cortlandt Organics” prepared by Ralph G. Mastromonaco, P.E. latest revision dated November 21, 2008.

            The subject property of 11.47 acres is zoned, M-1, Light Industrial and is located on the east side of Albany Post Road south of Victoria Avenue and is designated on the Town of Cortlandt Tax Maps as Section 54.08, Block 2, Lots 12 & 28.

            Pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 of the State Environmental Quality Review Regulations the subject application is an unlisted action for which Part One of the Short Environmental Assessment Form was submitted.

      Persons may review said application and drawings at the Planning Office in the Cortlandt Town Hall, 1 Heady Street, Cortlandt Manor, New York, between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, except holidays. 

            SAID HEARING will be conducted in the Vincent F. Nyberg General Meeting Room at the Cortlandt Town Hall, 1 Heady Street, Cortlandt Manor, New York on Tuesday evening, March 3, 2009 at 8:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as possible at which time all interested persons will be heard.
