NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Town Board of the Town of Cortlandt, Westchester County, New York will conduct a PUBLIC HEARING on Tuesday, May 11, 2004 at 7:30 p.m. Prevailing Time, or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Vincent F. Nyberg General Meeting Room located in the Town Hall at One Heady Street, Cortlandt Manor, New York, (10567) to amend the Local Laws and Ordinances of the Town of Cortlandt to provide that the Town of Cortlandt may annually by resolution designate agencies to conduct electrical inspection within the Town of Cortlandt. Once said laws are amended the Town Board annually shall adopt a resolution setting forth what inspection agencies are considered reputable and acceptable by the Town Board for the conduct of electrical inspections within the Town.

All persons interested in this proposed action will be heard at the time, date and place specified above, and written comments in regard thereto should be submitted to the Town Clerk, in writing, no later than 4:00 p.m. May 10, 2004 to be included in the transcript of the proceedings of this hearing.

The Town Hall is a handicapped accessible facility.
