Our area of New York is currently under a state of emergency, as ordered by the Governor, and we urge residents to stay off of the roadways until conditions improve. Town crews have been working since the early hours of this morning to clear Town roads and the Town’s 50 plow drivers will continue operations into the evening. As a reminder, parking is prohibited on all Town roads overnight during the winter months, and during snow plowing operations. As high winds are expected, should you lose power, please contact Con Edison at 1-800-75CONED. We also ask you to shovel out a fire hydrant if there is one near your home.
