PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the PLANNING BOARD of the TOWN OF CORTLANDT will conduct a Public Hearing pursuant to Chapter 307 (Zoning) of the Town of Cortlandt Code to consider the application of Montauk Student Transport, LLC, for the property of Worth Properties, LLC, for Site Development Plan approval and for a Wetland Permit as per Chapter 179 (Wetlands) and a Tree Removal Permit as per Chapter 283 (Trees) for a school bus depot with a total of 187 parking spaces, a maximum of 92 parking spaces for full and van size buses and 95 parking spaces for passenger vehicles, a fuel storage and dispensing facility and the use of the existing 4,200 sq. ft. garage/office facility and storage barn building for a business office, employee lounge and garage for light service and maintenance as shown on a 9 page set of drawings entitled “Site Development Plan for Montauk Student Transport, LLC” prepared by Timothy L. Cronin, III, P.E. latest revision dated August 10, 2015.The subject property of 4.98 acres is zoned MD, Designed Industrial, is located at 301 6th Street in the hamlet of Verplanck and is designated on the Town of Cortlandt Tax Maps as Section 43.17, Block 1, Lot 38.
Pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 of the State Environmental Quality Review Regulations the subject application is an unlisted action for which Part One of the Long Environmental Assessment Form was submitted.
Persons may review said application at the Planning Office, Town Hall, 1 Heady Street, Cortlandt Manor, New York between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, except holidays.
SAID HEARING will be conducted in the Vincent F. Nyberg General Meeting Room at the Cortlandt Town Hall, 1 Heady Street, Cortlandt Manor, New York on Tuesday evening, May 2, 2017 at 7:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as possible at which time all interested persons will be heard.
