Storm Response

Saturday 3/10/2018, Storm Response, 6:00 pm update:

Con Edison reports 620 homes without power as of 4:30 pm. Croton Avenue at 581 Croton Avenue is the only roadway that remains partially closed due to Con Edison wires down.  Debris removal and tree work was undertaken today by DES work crews and our contracted partners. We urge residents to exercise extreme caution as there may be downed electric wires and debris hidden by snow.

The emergency shelter is open at the Muriel Morabito Community Center at 29 Westbrook Drive. We urge residents to continue to report all downed wires and power outages by contacting Con Edison at 1-800-75CONED.  Do not assume that Con Edison is aware of your power outage, particularly if those around you have power and you do not.

We anticipate that dry ice will continue to be distributed by Con Edison at the Cortlandt Town Center (near Applebee’s) from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm tomorrow.
