REMINDERS
- Please do not litter. Help us clean up the sides of the roads after a very difficult winter. You can receive bags at town hall (in the Supervisor’s office), put them out by the sides of the roads and the town crews will collect them.
- Remember to always recycle. It is important for our environment.
- On Friday, April 20th 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Town Hall parking lot the Westchester County shredder will be available for town residents to dispose of confidential papers.
- The Town of Cortlandt is sponsoring an Earth Day Hike on Saturday, April 21st; 10 a.m. at the McAndrew’s Estate (go to www.townofcortlandt.com for more information.) Please join us for our annual hike.
- The Cortlandt Conservation Advisory Council (CAC) will be giving away FREE reusable shopping bags (while supplies last) beginning at 10 a.m. on Sunday, April 22nd at ShopRite Rte. 6/ Cortlandt Blvd. and at Super Foodtown (near Amberlands). The CAC is encouraging the public to shift way from the use-and-toss culture and help reduce plastic waste.
