Meet Our Art Curator Eren Johnson is excited to join the Town of Cortlandt as the newly appointed Art Curator for the Town’s newly launched Art in Cortlandt program. Originally from Houston, TX - Eren moved to New York to earn her Masters in Fine Arts from Hunter College. She and her family are recent arrivals to Cortlandt, where her child attends school in the Hendrick Hudson School District. Committed to serving her community Eren has for the past two years held the role of the Treasurer for the Blue Mountain Middle School PTA.

Professionally, Eren is involved in academic research within the arts as the Editor of the Esteban Vicente Catalogue Raisonné Project and is employed as the Archive & Collection Director of The Harriet and Esteban Vicente Foundation. In addition to assuming curatorial duties for the Town of Cortlandt Eren is currently collaborating with the Parrish Art Museum in Watermill, NY and Museo de Arte Contemporáneo Esteban Vicente in Segovia, Spain on the joint exhibition, In the Light of the Garden: Joaquín Sorolla and Esteban Vicente, which opened at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo Esteban Vicente in late June and will open at the Parrish Art Museum on August 7th.
