My visit to Newport was like a refresh button since I worked throughout the Covid phase in a lab. While most stayed home I was working harder than ever, so to unwind I painted to escape the long work hours in the microbiology and virology department. My Newport trip and the way the sail boats were woven on the water were so Interesting, which inspired me to paint this piece.
