Severe Weather Alert 12/22/2022
The Department of Environmental Services workers are prepared for this afternoon’s upcoming rain storm. The latest forecast calls for 2” to 3” of rain before the storm ends tomorrow evening. Wind gusts could hit 45-50 mph. This may cause some trees and limbs to come down over night or during the day tomorrow. In addition, temperatures will plummet Friday evening. Teams will be out applying salt on roads.
As a reminder parking is prohibited along town roads during winter months. If you have an emergency, please call 911. If you lose power, call Con Edison or NYS Electric and Gas directly.
