The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists to expect U.S. Route 6/202 (Bear Mountain Bridge Road) in both directions to close between State Route 9D and U.S. Route 9 in the Town of Cortlandt, Westchester County, weekdays beginning Thursday, March 16, through Friday, March 24, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., to facilitate tree work, weather permitting. Motorists should expect delays and follow the posted detour utilizing State Route 9D, State Route 403 and U.S. Route 9.
