Now in its final weeks, the 2nd Annual Student Exhibition at Town Hall Exuberant Joy celebrates joy in all its forms. Laurilee Jacoby fearlessly expresses the joy she experiences with her cat. Ellie, the cat, takes center stage in the composition, a declaration by Laurilee of Ellie’s importance in her life.

“Laurilee is 11 years old. She painted and drew this because her cat means everything to her, and she wanted to show the world. She hopes that people seeing this realize that sometimes art can be messy.”
