Yom HaShoah also known as Holocaust Remembrance Day, is a day set aside to honor the memory of the approximately six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust. We will never forget. The Holocaust & Human Rights Education Center and the Westchester Jewish Council are proud to present the Annual Westchester Countywide Yom Hashoah Holocaust Commemoration on Monday, May 6th from 12noon-1pm at the Garden of Remembrance in White Plains, 148 Martine Avenue. The commemoration will again begin with a procession of Westchester’s rescued Holocaust Torahs.
