Due to the extreme cold, we have encountered several water main breaks throughout the town. All are being addressed, and work should be completed later today. Scenic Drive has been repaired and will be back in service shortly. A boil water advisory has been issued by the Westchester County Department of Health for All apartments in Buildings #11 through#31 on Scenic Drive served by Cortlandt Consolidated Water District, and will remain in effect at least through Friday January 24, 2025, and until further notice as a precautionary measure due to a water main break. The Town of Cortlandt Water Staff are currently performing repairs on Furnace Dock Road and anticipate repairs to be completed in the next 2 hours. In addition, the remaining leaking value on Lakeview Avenue West and Lake Road is also under repair and will be complete within the next couple hours.

If you do lose water, when your water has been restored you may experience discolored water or air in your lines. We ask that you refrain from washing clothing until the cold water in your home runs clear and the residual air has dissipated.
