Choose Green, Choose sustainability! The Town of Cortlandt Green Team is bringing back two green events. First up, Westchester County’s Mobile Shredder will be stationed at Cortlandt Town Hall Parking Lot, located at 1 Heady Street in Cortlandt Manor on Friday, September 20, from 10:00am until 1:00pm. Residents can bring up to four file-sized (10”x12”x15”) boxes of confidential papers per household. Remove all large binder clips and covers. This a great way to reduce identity theft while recycling paper.

Next in line, stop by the Community SWAP on Saturday, September 21st from 9:00am until 1:00pm at the Muriel H. Morabito Community Center, 29 Westbrook Drive, Cortlandt Manor. This is an opportunity for residents to find new homes for their unused items and pick up other items to use for free! This will keep many items out of the landfills!

Plus, the Rotary Club of Cortlandt Manor is hosting a clothing drive in partnership with Helpsy on the same day from 9:00am until 12:00pm at the Muriel H. Morabito Community Center.
