Water Main Breaks

Lakeview Avenue West AND Scenic Drive

(January 21, 2025)

The Town of Cortlandt Water Staff are currently performing repairs two water main breaks. They are currently performing repairs on the water main located at Lakeview Avenue West. When complete, they will be heading to Scenic Drive to make those repairs.

At this time, we anticipate repairs to be completed on Lakeview Avenue by 11:00pm this evening. They will be making their way to Scenic Drive to make the water main repairs as soon as Lakeview is Complete. We anticipate Scenic Drive repair to be completed by 2:00am.

We will post additional information on the Town of Cortlandt website, www.townofcortlandt.com, later this evening if the repairs will extend past this time.

If you do lose water, when your water has been restored you may experience discolored water or air in your lines. We ask that you refrain from washing clothing until the cold water in your home runs clear and the residual air has dissipated.
