Planning Board Hearing - Henning Drive Subdivision

            PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the PLANNING BOARD of the TOWN OF CORTLANDT will conduct a Public Hearing on the application of  37 Croton Dam Road Corporation pursuant to Section 276 and 277 of the New York State Town Law and Chapter 265 (Subdivision of Land), Chapter 179 (Wetlands) and Chapter 283 (Trees) of the Town of Cortlandt Code for Preliminary Plat Approval, a Wetland Permit and a Tree Removal Permit for a proposed 4 lot major subdivision of 13.68 acres including the construction of a 500’ long, 70’ wide and 11’ high berm to control stormwater flows within the wetland  as shown on a drawing entitled “Sketch Alternative Subdivision Plan for 37 Croton Dam Road Corporation” dated August 26, 2005 prepared by Cronin Engineering, P.E., P.C.   As an alternative the Planning Board is also considering a proposed 2 lot major subdivision plan of the subject property without a berm as shown on a drawing entitled “Sketch Alternative, 2 Lot Subdivision Plan” also dated August 26, 2005 and prepared by Cronin Engineering, P.E., P.C.

            The subject property is zoned R-15, Single Family Residential and is located at the end of Walter Henning Drive and Bonnie Hollow Lane, approximately 300 feet northwest of Dutch Street and is designated on the Town of Cortlandt Tax Maps as Section 54.12, Block 4, Lot 32.

             Pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 of the State Environmental Quality Review Regulations the subject application is an unlisted action for which Part One of the Full Environmental Assessment Form was submitted.

            Persons may review said application and drawings at the Planning Office in the Cortlandt Town Hall, 1 Heady Street, Cortlandt Manor, New York, between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, except holidays. 

            SAID HEARING will be conducted in the Vincent F. Nyberg General Meeting Room at the Cortlandt Town Hall, 1 Heady Street, Cortlandt Manor, New York on Tuesday evening, November 1, 2005 at 8:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as possible at which time all interested persons will be heard.
