Attention all Town of Cortlandt residents! 

This week, the Town of Cortlandt Recreation Department will be hosting the first annual Virtual Baking Contest! Starting this afternoon, we invite our followers to submit photos of their baked goods, any variety is welcome, by messaging us on Facebook or Instagram. Each submission should include a photo of your finished product and a two to three sentence description of your recipe! 

Below, find the Virtual Baking Contest timeline:

• Monday, March 30th: Submissions are open to our residents and followers. 
• Friday, April 3rd: Submissions will close at noon and the Town of Cortlandt Recreation Department staff will pick finalists based on recipe, design, and creativity.
• Saturday, April 4th: We will announce the finalists and open voting to the public on Instagram and Facebook. 
• Monday, April 6th: The baked good submission with the most likes on Facebook and Instagram combined, will win a gift card supporting one of our Town’s small businesses, Baked By Susan!

In addition to picking a winner, we will be creating a Town of Cortlandt Baked Goods Recipe Book to share with all of our followers. In a time of social distancing, it is important to find ways that we can be together.
