A message from Town Supervisor Linda Puglisi

Hello this is Linda Puglisi Supervisor of the Town of Cortlandt. Thank you for allowing me to come into your home for a moment. It has now been over a month since we’ve had so many changes in our lives, but all to keep us safe from the spread of this virus. You have all been terrific and abiding by the important rules coming from the State and the County to socially distance, to stay home, to sanitize our hands frequently and not to gather in groups. As we’ve learned COVID-19 spreads easily and we must continue these practices so we can get back to the lives we cherish. I want to thank the youth in Cortlandt for their patience and cooperation. I know it’s been hard for you not to see your friends but I want you to know I’m so proud of you, we all are. The Town Board and I are now holding board meetings on Zoom and we have put them on our website along with a lot of important information on our website and Facebook. These messages and notices are to help our families and local businesses get through this challenge. We are forever grateful for our hospital and healthcare workers, our emergency service providers and I want to add our thanks to those working in grocery stores, pharmacies and to the delis and restaurants for their take-out services. So many people to thank in our community of 32,000 wonderful people. Thank you to each one of you and I always end by telling you I love Cortlandt and all of you thank you.
