Good evening. This is the Town of Cortlandt with an important update regarding Tropical Storm Isaias recovery efforts. Town work crews worked for the afternoon and will continue to work this evening to open roadways where Con Edison wires are not involved. We are currently working together with two Con Edison crews Town wide to restore power to our residents after wires are cleared.  We urge residents to continue to treat all downed wires as live wires and report power outages by contacting Con Edison at 1-800-75CONED.  Please visit the Town website at www.townofcortlandt.com for additional updates or call (914) 737-0047 to report an issue to the Highway Department.
