We have experienced a major power outage town wide due to extremely high winds and fallen trees last evening. We still have approximately 1,000 homes without power as of 3:30 this afternoon. Please check the Con Edison website for anticipated restoration times for your address.

Town crews have been working since early this morning and have cleared and opened more than 15 roads. Town staff will continue to clear roads and assist Con-Edison as needed to make necessary repairs to the power lines.

If you haven’t done so already, please report your power outage to Con Edison at 1-800-75CONED, particularly if those around you have had their power restored. Please do not assume that Con Edison is aware of your outage.
