Good afternoon, it has been reported to us from the Northern Westchester Joint Water Works and the Montrose Improvement District that the Emergency transmission water main repairs continue and are expected to be completed within the next 2 to 3 hours.

The Town of Cortlandt water crews were successful earlier today switching to an alternate feed to temporarily restore water to most of our consumers.

Once the system has been fully restored to pre-break conditions and the switch back to the original feed has been established, you may experience discolored water or air in your lines. During this process you may also experience intermittent loss of water and/or low water pressure.

The Town of Cortlandt water crews will be out making sure the water supply switch back is successful and that all of our consumers are properly restored after the repairs are complete.
