A Message from Supervisor Linda Puglisi
I am proud to say over the past 34 years as an elected official in Cortlandt (Town Councilwoman for four years and Supervisor for thirty years), I have only missed five board meetings and they were due to my mother’s illnesses and sadly her passing away and to me having the flu a couple of times.
Also, I was at work everyday except for one-week vacation in the summer or an occasional 3-day weekend. I am very proud of this record. I loved going into work at our lovely town hall each day and attending all the events throughout the year.
Over these 34 years there have been a minimum of 1,632 town board meetings and work sessions that I attended and chaired as Supervisor.
Of course, there were many, many committee meetings, staff meetings, meetings with residents and civic groups, as well. I enjoyed working with everyone always with the GOAL of how can we work for our residents and always improve their quality of life.
It has been my HONOR to hold the position of Cortlandt’s Town Supervisor.
Thank you,
Linda Puglisi
