The Town of Cortlandt is pleased to announce that we have expanded the display area for our military tribute banner program to include Broadway in the hamlet of Verplanck, extending from 3rd street to St. Patrick’s cemetery. This program, now in its third year, is a beautiful tribute to honor and thank all of our brave men and women who have defended our Country and fought for our freedoms in America. We are proud to support this program and appreciate those families who have previously participated by ordering banners for their loved ones.

In addition to this new location, the banners will continue to be displayed along Route 9A near the VA Hospital in Montrose and along Oregon Road (Locust Ave. to Hollow Brook Golf Club) in the northern part of Cortlandt from Memorial Day through Veterans Day. Once this period ends, the banners will be taken down and given to the family or business who sponsored the banner as a keepsake.
