Have you ever wanted to purchase property at a tax foreclosure auction or hoped to get a great deal on a foreclosed property? Well, I’m excited to announce that the Town of Cortlandt is auctioning off 3 town owned parcels.

The parcels being auctioned include a boat slip at Half Moon Bay, vacant land at 266 White Street in Buchanan, and land with a structure on it located at 432 Furnace Dock Rd.

We have once again chosen the online auction format and are utilizing AARauctions.com.

You can view the parcels online right now, however bidding will not begin until Monday, August 28th at 10AM and will end Wednesday, August 30th, 2023 at 11AM.

The online auction format has received a lot of positive feedback. After each bid, the next minimum bid amount is posted. While the auction is stated as closing 8/30 at 11AM, it will actually close 2 minutes after the last bid. Therefore, if someone places a bid at 10:59, you still have up to 2 minutes to place another bid. This will continue until no other bids are placed.
