Kaufman Special Permit - Public Hearing

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

            PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the PLANNING BOARD of the TOWN OF CORTLANDT will conduct a Public Hearing to consider the application of Michael Kaufman for the renewal of a Junkyard Special Permit pursuant to Section 307-61 of the Town of Cortlandt Zoning Ordinance to allow the continued operation of Kaufman Auto Parts as shown on a drawing entitled “Site Development Plan" prepared by Joel Trace, RA, latest revision dated March 3, 1995. 

The subject property is split zoned with the front 200 feet zoned HC/9A, Highway Commercial/Multi Family and the remainder of the property zoned M-1, Light Industrial. The subject property of approximately 8.7 acres is located on the east side of New York and Albany Post Road, 300 feet north of Dutch Street and is designated on the Town of Cortlandt Tax Maps as Section 54.08, Block 2, Lots 29 and 30.

Pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 of the State Environmental Quality Review Regulations the subject application is an unlisted action for which Part One of the Short Environmental Assessment Form was submitted.

Persons may review said application at the Planning Office, Town Hall, 1 Heady Street, Cortlandt Manor, New York between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, except holidays.

SAID HEARING will be conducted in the Vincent F. Nyberg General Meeting Room at the Cortlandt Town Hall, 1 Heady Street, Cortlandt Manor, New York on Tuesday evening, February 6, 2007 at 8:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as possible at which time all interested persons will be heard.
