Public Hearing - Our Lady of Mt. Carmel

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

      PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the PLANNING BOARD of the TOWN OF CORTLANDT will conduct a Public Hearing pursuant to Chapter 307 (Zoning) of the Town of Cortlandt Code on the application of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Society for Site Development Plan Approval and a Special Permit for membership clubs in the RG zoning district for a proposed 1,800 sq. ft. building addition to the existing Mt. Carmel Society Hall building located at 8th Street and Highland Avenue as shown on a 4 page set of drawings entitled “Proposed Site Plan” prepared by Gemmola & McWilliams, LLP, dated May 17, 2007

            The subject property of approximately 50,000 sq. ft. is zoned, RG, General Residential and is located at 8th Street and Highland Avenue and is designated on the Town of Cortlandt Tax Maps as Section 43.17, Block 3, Lot 74.

             Pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 of the State Environmental Quality Review Regulations the subject application is an unlisted action and includes an Environmental Assessment Form.

      Persons may review said application and drawings at the Planning Office in the Cortlandt Town Hall, 1 Heady Street, Cortlandt Manor, New York, between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, except holidays. 

            SAID HEARING will be conducted in the Vincent F. Nyberg General Meeting Room at the Cortlandt Town Hall, 1 Heady Street, Cortlandt Manor, New York on Tuesday evening, July 10, 2007 at 8:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as possible at which time all interested persons will be heard.
