Supervisor's Proposed 2019 Budget
I am very pleased to announce the Supervisor’s Proposed 2019 Budget with once again a very low town tax increase.
- Unincorporated Cortlandt (75% of the town) = .11% or $1.80 for the entire year for the average assessed property
- For Village of Buchanan taxpayers also a very low town tax increase of $ 1.65 for the year (.86%)
- For Village of Croton-on-Hudson taxpayers also a very low town tax increase of $3.30 for the year (1.42%)
On average for 28 years only a 1% town tax increase for the entire # of years.
This low town tax record along with very low debt, no deficit, always a surplus and over $150 million dollars of capital projects is an EXCELLENT FINANCIAL record that I am very proud of and give thanks to our team, town board members, comptroller, Patty Robcke, department heads and to all of our employees.
