Now on view at Town Hall, the Cortlandt: People, Places, Memories exhibition celebrates life in the Town of Cortlandt and provides a window into the informal and personal histories of the Town’s residents and businesses. All exhibition objects were kindly lent by Town residents and local business owners. Records of our shared history take many forms. For this exhibition, Elizabeth Corts lent her painted map that documents the various pathways through her corner of Cortlandt.

The map shows both the streets and waterways; places that my family loves to walk to both meet our neighbors and enjoy the beauty of all the lakes, creeks, and all the waterways.
