Now in its final month at Town Hall, the Cortlandt: People, Places, Memories exhibition celebrates life in the Town of Cortlandt and provides a window into the informal and personal histories of the Town’s residents and businesses. All exhibition objects were kindly lent by Town residents and local business owners. Places shape who we are and will become. As the natural boundary for the Town, the Hudson River influences the lives and commerce of the Town’s residents and businesses. For photographer, Anne Sorino, capturing the Hudson River as a serene backdrop during the battering of Charles Point Pier by a winter storm illustrates the many moods of the place we call home.
