Newly opened at Town Hall the exhibition, Flora & Fauna, is a celebration of the natural world and explores the sublime beauty of nature from the microscopic to the panoramic. Catherine Brosnan’s photographs are both documentation of place and goreous studies of color. With her camera lens she captures all the subtle variations in the cotton candy-colored wisps of clouds and their reflections in Sorbet Sky. In Reaching Towards the Light the viewer is reminded of the monumental scale of the natural world, while taking in the effects of shifts in light on perceived colors.
