Every dog 4 months of age or older owned in New York State must be licensed in the municipality in which they reside. Pet owners can apply for a dog license at their local town or municipal office.

Dog Licensing:
Please fill out our Dog License Application and submit it to our office with proof of Rabies Vaccination and the appropriate fee. Renewal reminders are mailed out annually.
Dog Park:
The Town's Dog Park is managed through the Town of Cortlandt Recreation Department. All dogs must be licensed with the Town Clerk prior to applying for the Dog Park.
Animal Control:
Animal Control is managed by the Code Department. This includes complaints, loose dogs, feral cats, and other issues. A host of links and information are available on their page.
